CLIMBING Mt. RAINER

TEACHING STRENGTH CLASSES

FINISHED WALKING 500+ MILES

AT THE TOP OF MT. KILIMANJARO

Mariana, NCPT, NASM-PT, PN1, 200hr RYT

Mariana has been a lifelong adventurer. After having climbed Mt. Rainer, Mt. Olympus, Mt. Baker and many other countless peaks in the Cascades, she decided to pursue triathlon racing.  She competed in several local races including a half-iron man and also did a few long bike rides such as the RSVP (Ride from Seattle to Vancouver, BC). While training for the Seattle to Portland ride (STP) she was hit by a car on her bike. This left her unable to pursue her love of outdoor sports. Injured, she turned to dance, Pilates and yoga as form of rehab that eventually turned into a life passion.

She quit her career as an Information Technology Project Manager, and got educated and certified to help others move and feel better. Today she continues to enjoy outdoor sports having recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Fuji, and walked over 550 miles from Lourdes, France to Fisterra, Spain.  Mariana knows what it's like to push through pain, but also has had to learn to listen to her body and hold back in order to continue adventuring.

Some clients call Mariana the Unicorn.  Because she is the rare Personal Trainer who is also comprehensively certified in Pilates, Yoga and nutrition coaching. She brings this diverse experience to training her clients as well.  Whether you're someone who just wants to move with less pain, feel stronger or wants to pursue something more adventurous Mariana has the experience to help you through the process.
